The Bulgarian National H-index Ranking was updated in Q2 2024. What changes have been made to the ranking? 

The National H-index Ranking is an independent international ranking that demonstrates the scientific productivity of organisations and institutions, scientists and researchers in a particular country. The basis for the assessment and ranking is the Hirsch index. 

The Bulgarian National H-index Ranking evaluates the scientific activities of Bulgarian scientists, academics, organisations and institutions based on data from international scientific databases and platforms such as Scopus, Web of Science (WoS) and Google Scholar. 

According to the updated data in Q2 2024, Bulgaria's Hirsch index is as follows:
 

In today's world, the Hirsch index is one of the key indicators of a researcher's scientific activity in such scientometric databases as Scopus and Web of Science. It indicates not only the popularity of a researcher and his or her work, but also his or her authority in the scientific community.
