In 2024, Web of Science, one of the major science metrics databases, announced the creation of an index that provides scientists with information about funding opportunities and research that has attracted the attention of funders from around the world. Today we will talk about the Grants Index, an analytical tool that provides a comprehensive view of research funding opportunities and helps scientists improve their chances of getting their grant applications approved.

Overview of Grants Index from Web of Science
Grants Index is a new database integrated into Web of Science's scientometric ecosystem that provides a comprehensive view of funding sources and previously successfully sponsoredresearch. Grants Index helps researchers identify key trends in scientific funding and improve the chances of grant application approval.
Benefits of Grants Index:
-
quick and convenient access to funding information
-
searchability across all Web of Science databases, thanks to full integration on the platform
-
