After conducting research and writing a scientific article, every researcher and scientist wants the results of their work to be published as soon as possible. Often, this does not happen as quickly as the author would like. What determines the timing of publication? What factors influence it? 

Scopus has published a list of journals that were excluded from the database in May 2024. Today we have prepared an updated list of publications that have been excluded from the database. 

The Bulgarian National H-index Ranking was updated in Q2 2024. What changes have taken place in the ranking? 

“Scientific Publications” has prepared a list of scientific publications excluded from the authoritative Scopus database for March and April 2024.

This article explores the reasons for rejection of scientific publications in journals indexed by the Scopus database. The authors analyze various factors influencing the decision to reject an article, including the scientific significance and originality of the research, compliance with journal requirements, quality of presented data and methodologies, as well as ethical aspects of publications.
