Today, scientific databases, digital libraries and archives actively use DOIs to provide their users with access to a large number of materials. What is this identifier and why is it needed?
DOI, or digital object identifier, is a unique number that makes it quick and convenient to find scientific research on the Internet. This identifier makes it much easier for researchers to cite sources in research papers and to include those sources in the list of references used.
Our regular presenter and expert of the "Scientific Publications" training and research centre Pavel Kolomiets will tell you in detail about DOI in the new video. You will learn what DOI is and what it is for. Also from the video you will learn how to get DOI and what is its practical application.
